I wrote this song in May 2023 coming up to Mother's Day. This is a honor for my mother and an expression of how glad I am that I was raised by her. She gave me the gift of God for my life and it has made all the difference in my life. I hate to think of how my life might be if it weren't for her love, corrections, and teaching.

This is a rewrite of an old hymn by the same name that this in the public domain. This was inspired by hearing Mr. J W Rucker sing this song so much at Davis Chapel AME Church when I was a child.

This is a song inspired by the Lord's Prayer. The song is mostly the Lord's Prayer written in a song from the perspective of the disciples singing to Jesus and Jesus's response to them.
